Deschutes Street Pub - Roanoke

Deschutes Brewery is excited to bring their pub to Roanoke for one day! Street Pub is a family friendly one-stop shop to try lots of Deschutes beers with over 50 taps – from The Abyss all the way to year-round favorites like Mirror Pond Pale Ale and Fresh Squeezed IPA. Deschutes will pair these beers up with culinary creations from our Executive Chef, Jeff Usinowicz and local chefs Aaron Deal of River & Rail and Jeff Farmer of Fortunato.

Benefits: 100% of the beer proceeds from this event will primarily benefit Roanoke Outside, Blue Ridge Land Conservancy, and Feeding America Southwest Virginia, as well as, Pathfinders for Greenways, Roanoke IMBA, Clean Valley Council, LEAP for Local Food, Family Promise of Greater Roanoke, and Bradley Free Clinic!

Bands: Local, live music on two stages from bands such as My Radio, Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band, Place Called Home, Eternal Summers, Dharma Bombs, The Floorboards, Funky Dawgz Brass Band, and River Whyless will keep everyone dancing.

Admission: Free entry! $5 token = one beer

VIP Lounge: Sponsored by DIY Network’s Black Dog Architectural Salvage, this is your chance to get exclusive access to rare beer tastings led by one of Deschutes brewers. Their chef will be serving up beer snacks like beer salami, beer nuts, hop corn and more. Tickets also include two beer tokens and some fun Street Pub swag.

Partners: Guest taps will feature beer from Parkway Brewing Company, Chaos Mountain Brewing, Big Lick Brewing Company, Flying Mouse Brewery and Soaring Ridge Craft Brewers. Be sure to grab a special souvenir from Oregon-based Mckenzie Sew On, which will be on site creating live, one-off local prints for the event.

Other: Virginia Tech’s brewing team and Star City Brewers Guild will battle it out in Pro-Am Brewing Competition. We’ll also have a Deschutes Education Tent featuring Beer & Food Pairing Class, Off Flavors Seminar, and Q&A.

This one of a kind block party is truly, “crafted for community.” Grab your friends and family and come see what it’s all about.
