Take Your Dog To Work Day Challenge

Once again HomeTown Bank and the Roanoke Valley SPCA are teaming up for Take Your Dog to Work Day on Friday, June 24th. This year HomeTown Bank is encouraging all businesses in the Valley to join in the celebration by offering employees the opportunity to bring their dog to work for the day (or part) for a $5 donation to the Roanoke Valley SPCA. Appoint an office representative to collect the donations, or online (just print your receipt to show your supervisor!).

The payout for participation is twofold: furry friends in the office make for happy employees, and each business will receive promotions via Roanoke Valley SPCA’s social media that reaches over 19,000 people in the Valley and beyond. Capture pictures and video of your pups and patrons having a pawsome time and send them to Sylvie Peterson at speterson@rvspca.org for promotion on the day-of and after.

Bringing you dog to work helps raise awareness of their needs, our mission, and the countless animals that do not have a home. The funds raised during this day of communal fun will support the care that Roanoke Valley SPCA provides to homeless, neglected, abused, and relinquished dogs and cats throughout the Roanoke Valley. On June 24th your gesture of support will helps us all, you will be part of the change, to create a community where there are no homeless dogs or cats.

For more information about the Roanoke Valley SPCA or The National Bring Your Dog to Work Day challenge, contact Sylvie Peterson at 540-339-9503 or speterson@rvspca.org.
